Dr. Linda K. Brengle
Associate Professor of Theatre
Acting, Theatre History, African-American Theatre and Film Genres
Dr. Linda K. Brengle has a Ph.D from Bowling Green University. Linda
is an Associate Professor of Theatre and came to IUS in 1980. Her directing
credits include The Merry Wives of Windsor, Death of a Salesman, Tales
From India, Abundance and The Miser. She has performed with The
Kentucky Shakespeare Festival and is the founding member of the Copperhead
Consort, a faculty/student organization that specializes in the performance
of Medieval works. Her book, The Vagabonds, published by Fairleigh
Dickinson University Press, focuses on American Theatre.
Susan Van Dyke
Associate Professor of Theatre and Resident Scenographer
Lighting, Stagecraft, Theater Appreciation, Directing
Susan Van Dyke has a M.F.A. from Ohio State University. Susan is an
Associate Professor of Theatre and resident scenographer. Her design credits
include Extremities, Amadeus, The Lion In Winter, Holy Ghosts, Arsenic
and Old Lace, The Boys Next Door, and Keely and Du. She has extensive
training in lighting for both theatre and dance. Before coming to Southern
Indiana, Susan was resident lighting designer at East Carolina Playhouse
in Greenville, North Carolina. She was also Master Electrician for three
years and Stage Manager for two years at the Fine Arts Center, a three theatre
venue,at the University of Massachusetts.
Debra Macut

Acting and Creative Dramatics
Debra Macut has a M.F.A. from the Catholic University of America. She
has been in the 'Stage One' company for 10 seasons. Some of her favorite
roles include the nurse in Romeo and Juliet, Charlotte in Charlotte's
Web, Maybelle in Bridge to Terbithia and Maine Trotter in The
Great Gilly Hopkins, which had a two week run on Broadway at the New
Victory Theatre on 42ndStreet.
Lynn Miller

Acting and Theatre Appreciation
Lynne Miller has a M.F.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her
background includes work in dance and creative movement. She has studied
dance with the Hose Limon Company, Bella Lewizty Company and Hanya Holm.
Her favorite roles have been fanny in On The Verge, The Woman in
Wenceles Square, Lenny in Crimes of the Heart and Arlene in
Getting Out.
Dru Pilmer

Acting, Movement and Voice
Dru Pilmer has a M.F.A. from the University of Louisville. She is the
only certified Linklater Voice teacher in the Kentuckiana area. Over the
course of 14 years as a professional actress, she has enjoyed such roles
as Titania in A Midsummer's Nights Dream, Desdemona in Othello
with the Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival and Billie Dawn in Born Yesterday
at the Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre in North Carolina.
